The instroduction.
Saara reached out to me directly through my website, and her relaxed and calm vibe, along with her kindness, was evident from the beginning. We arranged an early trial for her makeup, as she was staying in Manchester at the time to her parents., if I recall correctly.
Her wedding day was planned in London. She had incredibly beautiful skin and knew precisely what she wanted, a very natural glowing makeup look to enhance her natural beauty without making her feel like someone else. I had to make a few adjustments to the original products to ensure they lasted longer on the wedding day, as some of her eyeshadow had creased at the trial and there were issues in certain areas on her face mainly due dryness.. I wanted to ensure these wouldn't be problems on her wedding day so I change them and also recommended a good skincare routine.
The stress of getting in Soho
Saraa's wedding was absolutely stunning, held at the perfectly situated venue in the heart of Soho at https://www.hazlittshotel.com. The flowers she selected, her gorgeous dress, the bridesmaids' attire, and her veil all contributed to the breathtaking event.
I highly recommend this place for any bride preparing for her big day. However, be aware the junior suite lighting wasn't the best if you start very early morning, although everything else was absolutely stunning.
When I arrived, there was a table filled with treats; she had thoughtfully provided coffee, tea, and pastries for everyone.
.
Starting at 7 am was quite early for both the stylist and me, especially since no trains, including the underground, were running that day. This meant an extremely early start at 4:30 am on a Sunday morning coming from Surrey. However, I can't really complain because I love what I do, and these challenges are part of it. Still, trains can be a real hassle, no matter how much planning goes into it and I can't dare driving to central on London.
I arrived 15 minutes later than planned and quickly set up in the area recommended by the hotel manager, likely because the lighting was good there. Then I realized Saara had her own room, so I had to repack and move to her room, which was stressful since I was already running late.
When I saw Saara, I was amazed at how prepared she was! She had her skin prep and clean masque on her hands, her skin looked amazing and was no patch of dryness. We finish the pre and she went straigh for the stylist and I continued my makeup for the extra 5 ready by 1pm. I am not sure how I did it and I was so pleased and I could finally breath again and enjoy getting those ladies ready.
It was likely one of the most stressful mornings I'd experienced in a while, as I'm usually punctual and often early. However, Saara's demeanor was completely different; she wasn't stressed at all, smiling the entire time, and her calmness was extraordinary. Typically, I'm the one who tries to calm my brides since it's such a stressful day for them, but honestly, I really needed that calmness myself on that day, and I'm so grateful for her kindness.

Saara thoughtfully considered every detail, including all of her mom's needs, which deeply
moved me due to her caring nature. This was especially memorable for me on such a stressful day.
That's why I love my work; I get to meet exceptional women, and it's such an honor to be selected and part of their wedding day.
This is one story but I have plenty more....
